Cardiovascular exercise can also help to decrease your risk of heart disease, reduce high cholesterol and even benefit non-insulin-dependent diabetes.
Weight training will help you build lean muscle mass, which directly affects your metabolism and will help you burn more calories each day. Your calorie intake will depend on your activity level.
In addition, building lean muscle mass and strengthening your core muscles will help you in your day to day activities, sports performance and with your self-image.
You will be more confident when you feel good about your body!
